Looks like Summer has arrived, and I hope you are enjoying the good weather both on the water and ashore.
Attached for your information and interest are:- A Notice to Mariners warning that there will be upwards of 100 swimmers in the water in Maldon Harbour on Sunday, 10th. July. Notice of a public meeting in the Town Hall on Friday, 15th. July to discuss 'The Present Status & Future of the River Chelmer & Blackwater Estuary to Maldon Town'. The Spring/Summer issue of the Pennant Newsletter with news and events relating to the Blackwater Sailing Barge Match Association (5 pages). With reference to Maldon & Heybridge Heritage Harbour Association piece in the Pennant Newsletter, I am pleased to tell you that the Club is in the process of joining the Association, and we will have our own blue plaque on the club house.
