The Sea-Change Sailing Trust
The Trust is making a real impact on the lives of disabled, disadvantaged and socially excluded young people.
The Trust was the MLSC Commodore’s Charity for 2018-19 which raised £1200-00. Note the Club Logo in Blue Mermaid’s Topsail.

Thames Sailing Barge Trust
The TSBT is a registered charity that exists to preserve two Thames barges (Pudge and Centaur) in sailing condition for the benefit of the public and to pass on the skills required to sail them.
Pudge and Centaur are berthed on Hythe Quay just a short distance from the Club.

Maldon Gig Rowing Club
Maldon Gig Rowing Club was formed in the summer of 2013. Our aim is to get as many people as possible out rowing and racing our two beautiful Harkers Yard Gigs, ‘Record Reign’ and ‘Ready’.
We are regularly seen training at weekends down on The Hythe by The Queens Head.

Maldon Harbour Improvement Commissioners
The Maldon Harbour Improvement Commissioners (MHIC) are the statutory harbour authority for the Port of Maldon.
The Commissioners are incorporated by Act of Parliament through The Maldon Harbour Order 1865 for ‘the improvement, maintenance and regulation of the Harbour at Maldon in the County of Essex’.

RNLI
Funded by charitable donations, the lifeboat crews and lifeguards of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution have saved at least 140,000 lives at sea since 1824. The Club is a strong supporter of the RNLI, holding several events throughout the year to raise funds, culminating in our Annual Sponsored Row and Gig Race. This years event raising over £10,000-00. Essex & Herts Air Ambulance
Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, unlike NHS emergency services, is a Charity providing a free life-saving Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the critically ill and injured of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
Specialist Doctors and Critical Care Paramedics can be rushed to the scene of an incident with life-saving support equipment to deliver advanced clinical care that is normally only found in a Hospital Emergency Department. Once stabilised, the patient will be conveyed by air or land to the most appropriate hospital for their needs.
