The MLSC is considered by many to be the social centre of the quay so when not on the water, our members and their guests love to party.

As well as marking annual set events such as, Fitting out, Laying up, Easter, Guy Fawkes, Christmas etc. We have Music nights with live music and many impromptu events

including Sunday Dinners, Soup Lunches and even Beach Parties (on the Quay!). Autumn conker competitions and Sloe Gin events are particularly popular.

Our Upper Deck with its large screen plus ample seating provides a perfect venue for watching a film or listening to a guest speaker and with it's superb views over the Hythe Quay and the river it is also a great place to chill out and watch the world go by.

On the Lower Deck we have a very well stocked bar more details of which will be found in the Facilities section.

Outside of the clubhouse, we have barbecue events, a cycling and a walking group.
