Sailing with Maldon Little Ship Club

The Maldon Little Ship Club (M.L.S.C.) exists to encourage an interest in all activities associated with the water,
sailing is, however, our main interest.

M.L.S.C. organises a summer programme of cruising and club racing whilst also encouraging members to take part in inter club racing organised by The Blackwater Joint Racing Committee (B.J.R.C) .

Our cruising programme starts in April and continues through to October each year and consists of overnight cruises, longer coastal cruises and cross channel cruises complete with organised social events including BBQ’s, meals ashore and even a tidal cricket match.

Cruises are listed in our summer programme or website Sailing Programme when published. Further details are sent out by Kev Knox, the Cruising Captain,  by email and on posters in the Club bar.

Cruises are organised by our Cruising Captain who can be contacted at email hidden; JavaScript is required Any member can take part in these cruises either by taking their own boat or by crewing for another member. Whilst there is no guarantee of finding a berth for a non-boat owner, our Cruising Captain will endeavour to match prospective crew members with boat owners

Racing takes the form of both Club races and B.J.R.C. races and is organised by our Racing Captain who can be contacted at email hidden; JavaScript is required

Racing Skippers are often looking out for keen new crew members so please contact Trevor if you are interested.
