A warm welcome also awaits everyone at St Mary’s, the ‘seaman’s church’ on Hythe.  It is hosting its first open day on Regatta Day from 10-4pm. There will be numerous displays – including one from the Mission to Seafarers, also demonstrations of hand bell ringing, tower bell ringing and much more.
Refreshments available, include bacon butties at lunchtime and cream teas in the afternoon

Photographs taken during the day will be on display in The Queens Head from 1930
